Mitch Bradford-Malone

"You can never be overdressed or overeducated."
—Oscar Wilde

He's here, he's queer, he's ready to annoy you with his friendship!

Appearance
Though he considers himself an average caucasian, with a typically lean and muscular physique, bright blue eyes and easy smile, many find him attractive. They gray in his beard hints that there are silver flecks to be discovered atop his head.
Mondays through Fridays will find Mitch in expensive suits which he adores, while his casual attire ranges from old t-shirts he's held onto since his high school days to prestigious brand name clothing.

Personality
Mitch is an extremely friendly and inquisitive gentelman; he can be a little intense. His curiousity is not just out of politeness - he's genuinely interested in learning about new acquaintances; though he has a habit of rambling off about his own experiences, he's sure to return focus to the other person. He's a trustworthy confidant and is quick to offer advice when he sees fit. Strongly adverse to drama, he attempts to right all conflicts before they spiral out of control...though this is not always within his power. He's easily frustrated when situations don't go as he intends and will throw his hands up in defeat before taking a breath and reevaluating to seek resolution. He strives to maintain a positive outlook at all times, at least visibly if he isn't actually feeling it.

History
Being the first of the Bradford children has had its advantages and disadvantages. The strict rules Mitch initially endured seemed to become more lenient as the family grew, Christmas and birthday gifts decreased while the volume of noise increased and privacy became but a fairytale term, but still he had plenty of reasons to be grateful. Loneliness was never really an issue, nor boredom, and it was fairly easy to turn attentions elsewhere when he felt necessary...mainly when the subject turned to relationships and dating.

It was during a typical career day in middle school that a well-dressed twenty-something caught and held Mitchell's attention. He'd previously had little direction regarding his future, but found himself immediately captivated by the young man's appearance and assertiveness. While classmates quietly joked about the 'snoozefest,' Mitch decided then and there that he wanted to get into the business world and reap the benefits. His grades went from satisfactory to excellent almost overnight, and his unwavering dedication paid off as high eligibility for scholarships.

Though for the most part Mitch adored his large family and the chaotic atmosphere of his home life, he was ecstatic to move onto the campus of UMass at Dartmouth and begin a new chapter of life. He'd anticipated the experiences and challenges, and was not let down. He did his best to carefully balance academics, partying and part-time work as a bartender, and generally succeeded. Mitch was ready to go full force into graduate school after receiving his bachelor of arts degree in economics, but a summer internship at Bain & Company quickly changed his mind, as he found himself surrounded by supportive colleagues in his preferred domain. He was hired on as an associate consultant in at the close of his internship, and worked for a year and a half before attending MIT Sloan School of Management to acquire his MBA. Life was smooth sailing for the most part as he climbed the corporate ladder until reaching his ideal role as consultant. For years he turned down promotions, but when the New York office came calling, he took a step back to evaluate his situation. He loved Boston with all his heart, but a change of scenery was suddenly appealing. Terrified but clinging to optimism, he accepted the Case Team Leader position in Manhattan.
